In Loving Memory of Michael Gene Burrowes

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Gene Burrowes, born October 20, 1984, who peacefully passed away on June 8, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Michael was a devoted son, a loving father, a caring brother, and a loyal friend. He is survived by his beloved son, Michael Andrew Burrowes; his mother, Martha Jean Burrowes; his sister, Misty Burrowes; his nieces, Faith and Destiny; and his nephew, Devin. He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Gene Burrowes.

Michael found joy in the simple things in life. He loved spending time outdoors, fishing whenever he had the chance, and caring for the many animals he loved at home. More than anything, he devoted much of his life to helping his mother in any way he could. His kindness, loyalty, and willingness to lend a hand to those he cared about will be remembered by everyone who knew him.

As the family navigates this heartbreaking loss, they are facing the unexpected burden of funeral and burial expenses. We are asking for any support you can provide to help give Michael the dignified farewell he deserves and ease the financial strain on his loved ones during this difficult time.
