Help Us Honor Margaret’s Life
On May 20th, my mother, Margaret, suffered a tragic accident that left her with severe brain damage and in a coma. After an incredibly difficult journey and many prayers, our family has made the heartbreaking decision to remove life support tonight.
Even in this difficult time, Margaret’s generous spirit continues to shine. She was an organ donor, and through her selfless gift, she will help save and improve the lives of others in need. Knowing that a part of her will continue to help others brings us some comfort during this unimaginable loss.
Due to the circumstances surrounding her accident, there are no funds available to cover funeral and burial expenses. In addition to these costs, our family is facing travel expenses and other unexpected financial burdens that have accumulated during this difficult time.
My name is Amelia, and I am Margaret’s daughter. I am humbly asking for help as we work to give my mom the dignified farewell she deserves.
Margaret was 65 years old and one of the hardest-working people I have ever known. She was a phenomenal truck driver who loved being out on the open road. She took great pride in her work, never shied away from hard work, and lived life with strength, determination, and independence.
More than anything, she loved her family. Her granddaughters, Kailani and Bertha, brought her immense joy, and she cherished every moment she spent with them. She had a beautiful smile, a generous heart, and a way of making people feel welcome wherever she went. Many of you had the pleasure of knowing her and experiencing the kindness, laughter, and warmth she shared so freely with others.
The loss of our mother is devastating, and we are doing our best to navigate the difficult days ahead. Any donation, no matter the amount, will help our family cover funeral expenses, burial costs, travel, and other related expenses. If you are unable to donate, we would be deeply grateful if you could share this fundraiser and keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and generosity as we honor Margaret’s life and memory. We will forever carry her love, strength, and spirit with us.
With love and gratitude,
Amelia and Family
