My name is Towanda Edwards, and I am raising funds to honor the life and memory of my beloved mother, Evelyn Edwards.

On December 23, 2025 our family lost Evelyn after a courageous battle with Stage 4 cervical cancer. She fought with strength, grace, and dignity until the very end. Watching someone you love fight so hard while knowing the outcome is something no family is ever prepared for, and our hearts are truly broken.

My mother was more than her illness. She was a loving mother, a source of comfort, and a steady presence for those who knew her. She gave so much of herself to others, always putting her family first, even while she was battling cancer. Despite the pain and challenges she faced, she continued to show love, kindness, and resilience.

As we navigate this unimaginable loss, we are also faced with the unexpected financial burden that comes with funeral and memorial costs, and the transition our family is now enduring. We want to give my mother the dignified homegoing she deserves and honor her life in a way that reflects the love she gave so freely.
