A Desperate Plea for Survival Essentals in the North of Gaza
Donation protected
Hello, dear friends and compassionate supporters,
My name is Muhammad, I'm from the UK and I am writing this on behalf of our dear sister and friend who is stuck in Gaza and is facing harsh conditions. This is her Plea for Urgent Support - help her survive in Gaza. I have re-worded her message below to add depth.
Esraa's message -
Today marks 315 days of relentless conflict in Gaza. I remain trapped in the northern region, with my ailing mother and sisters, without the comfort of brothers or a father to care for us. My mother, despite her worsening condition, was finally able to resume her chemotherapy. Yet, the soaring prices of even the most basic, healthy foods mean we can't provide her with the essential vitamins and minerals she desperately needs to recover and strengthen her fragile body after treatment.
Ten months of constant hunger have drained our strength. Severe malnutrition has left us too weak to carry out the simplest tasks of daily life. We are burdened with exhaustion, anemia, osteoporosis, and countless other ailments that ravage our already fragile immune systems.
Our dreams have been reduced to the smallest of desires—a nourishing meal or a sip of something refreshing. The traditional dishes we once cherished, like Maqlouba, or even something as simple as a piece of fruit, now feel like distant fantasies. A cup of milk, once so ordinary, is now a luxury we can’t afford.
Every donation we receive is a lifeline, offering us a chance to buy food and medicine that might help us regain a fraction of our lost strength and bring some relief to our endless suffering.
Our mother is our world. Losing her would shatter what little remains of our family and leave us homeless. We need between $200 and $300 daily to secure enough food and medicine, yet most days, all we manage is enough for bread. Our dreams are consumed by thoughts of the nourishing meals we once took for granted, now out of reach.
We’ve been trapped here, unable to leave the north of Gaza, with the crossing closed and barricaded, cutting us off from safer areas and any hope of accessing more resources.
Thank you for your unwavering support in this unimaginable time.
With deep gratitude,
Esraa

Below are some images Esraa shared recently in September 2024. I have added some caption to give you an understanding of what is shown in the images:

Esraa's mother receiving treatment for her Cancer in a hospital in Gaza

The condition of Esraa's home after the intense bombing since last year. The block has been bombed several times and is now completely uninhabitable.

Photo of Esraa's home block from the outside, you can see half of it has fallen apart. Most homes are in this condition.

The daily struggle for clean drinking water. A basic necessity the world can run from a tap, but a rare commodity in Gaza.
Below are some photos of the food they manage to eat on a good day
