After 5 years, it is time for Desire of Nations  to get her own place in the city of Manhattan.
Thus we solicit your support in raising the sum of US $1 million dollars in down-payment and set up cost.
We can not do it alone; we need your help.

As a church, our mission has been and remains to attract and minister to the teeming number of ambitious students as well as many busy young professionals that have become synonymous with the city of Manhattan. By providing a comfortable, non-judgmental yet engaging environment, where the word of God can be shared,  we know that their God-given potential can be realized.

Our temporary place of worship at the premise of Baruch College comes with many constraints (including time and space), which makes achieving our mission difficult.

For 5 years, we have impacted folks in our immediate community by hosting several fun and empowering events such as our annual 4th of July BBQ, Sweet Surrender music concerts, Career and life empowerment programs, outreach visits to Homeless Shelters, NYC Parks cleaning, Soup Kitchen outreaches and others. We desire to do more, especially to empower our target population: students and young professionals and the community at large by becoming a place for change, growth, purpose, comfort and refuge. 

To achieve our estimated target, we have garnered a sum of $24,000  through generous unsolicited donations. Now we need your support to raise the rest. We hope that at the completion of this project the church and community will benefit immensely.

Our projected breakdown of funds garnered;
Down payment: $500,000
Permits and Licenses: $ 50,000
Remodeling & Construction (labor + materials): $200,000- $300,000
Furnishing: $100,000
Miscellaneous expenses: $50,000
