A Deserved Burial for My Dear Mother Rose

My mother Rose left us for eternal rest on February 2, 2020. She left this world as she entered it: beautiful, graceful and with the love of her family. Sadly, like many Americans, she fought her cancer with everything she had and left little for us to provide her with the funeral and burial she so deserves. I started this GoFundMe to help cover our costs for her funeral and I hope you will join us by making a donation. A mother’s love is eternal and nothing can compete. My mother was a loving person, full of life. Even when things got tough she still had faith and a smile every day. She would always tell me that God had her in his hands, despite what cancer was doing to her. She fought to stay here with her family but in the end the cancer won. My mom's cancer spread from her breast to her bones and finally to her brain, leaving her unable to fight the disease. Being welcomed into this world by the loving embrace of a mother is one of the most universal of human experiences. As we travel through this life, no matter how dark and treacherous the path may become, we are always welcomed home and comforted by that same loving embrace. Death is no different - my mom, the light of my life, left this world in MY loving embrace. I am so grateful that I was able to be there for her just as she was for me throughout my life.
