A dedicated volunteer in need of help!

Many people end up in retirement living on limited means. This often means that if their car breaks down, they then must rely on public transit. However, for our friend Linda, public transit does not allow her to continue with all of her volunteer activities, which is why we are appealing on her behalf for funds to purchase a car. Linda provided many hours of assistance when Davenport Iowa recently went through the flooding from our levy breach. She lives in East Moline, so getting to the Scott County EMA office on the other side of the river to assist was difficult. She also volunteers at Illini Hospital. Giving back to the community is what she does, but may not be able to continue to do unless we can help her with a car. We hope that people are willing to contribute to this go-fund-me page to buy Linda a car, not a fancy one, just one that will help her to continue to help out her community.
