Our Dear Friend and Neighbor, Mark Ries

My name is Joanna Morris, and I represent the Weatherlea/Prancing Horse neighborhood in Collegeville. We are fundraising for our wonderful friend and neighbor, the Ries family, who suddenly lost their dear husband and father, Mark Ries. Our hearts break for them, and we hope to help them by raising funds to assist with unexpected and overwhelming expenses in times like these. We know that planning a funeral or handling financial matters can seem impossible in the days after a loved one has passed away, and we hope to ease the financial stress for them during this already difficult time.

Mark was a devoted husband and father to Becky and their three beautiful children, Charlie, Katie, and Mikey. He was the neighbor you would call if you needed anything, as he was always willing to lend a hand. Mark always had a smile and a positive outlook on life. He was the guy that you could sit with on your deck, have a beer and talk about anything and everything. He loved playing guitar, working with his hands, helping in the garden, playing with his kids and coaching them in various sports and activities. Becky & Mark were always willing and ready to host or coordinate the next family or neighborhood event and enjoy the company of family and friends. He will be missed deeply.

All money raised from this campaign will go directly to Becky Ries and her children. It will cover any necessary costs associated with Mark's passing and help take the weight of the world off their shoulders in this sad time.
