In the eerie stillness of a remote Northern Ontario campsite, a young couple arrives a day early—eager to enjoy a peaceful night under the stars before their friends join them. But as darkness falls, strange noises echo through the trees, and a pulsing red light flickers in the distance. What begins as a romantic getaway slowly descends into paranoia, confusion, and terror.
A Day Early is a suspenseful, slow-burning thriller that taps into the fear of isolation and the unknown. This film blends practical effects, atmospheric cinematography, and a chilling soundscape to create a cinematic experience that leaves more questions than answers.

We’re proud to be filming this project entirely in Northern Ontario, using an all-local crew made up of passionate and talented filmmakers, many of whom live and work right here in Greater Sudbury. Our goal is to tell a story rooted in our own backyard—showcasing the unique atmosphere, landscapes, and character of our region—while investing directly in the people who help make it special.
With the generous support of independent local businesses and community members, we’re not just making a film—we’re helping to grow and sustain a healthy film industry right here at home. Every dollar raised goes toward paying our crew fairly, renting local gear, supporting local locations, and creating real opportunities for creative professionals to thrive in the North.
