Hello FB family, I'm a daughter asking for help. My mother, Deborah Huling, is my hero, my biggest supporter and right now she is in the ICU battling COVID-19. She has been hospitalized for the past 2 weeks and on a ventilator for the last 10 days, we are unsure of how much longer she will be hospitalized. My mom is a Healthcare worker and a hardworking single parent who has done all she can for her family. She is currently the primary caregiver for my younger sister, my neice and nephew. My mother has preexisting health issues to include diabetes and hypertension which will need continued management after her discharge. I am concerned that she will be unable to return to work right away and will need financial assistance. The funds would be used for medical care, personal care, household maintenance, living expenses retroactive and future (to catch up from time she's hospitalized and possibly out of work). Not to mention, home prep because the home will have to go through a decontamination and accessibility changes for her when she is discharged from the hospital.
