Daras in The Gambia are traditional Islamic schools where children from underprivileged backgrounds, primarily orphans receive Quranic education and protection.

Unfortunately, these daras struggle with severe challenges including lack of essential resources and inadequate infrastructure. These challenges can hinder their ability to provide quality care and education for the students.

Rahma Charity is committed to providing continuous support to these Daras and underserved young people.
