VERY RARE DISEASE, VALLEY FEVER (DISSEMINATED COCCIDIOIDOMYCOSIS). In most cases, Valley Fever is fought off by one’s healthy immune system. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to fight this off. It has now entered his bloodstream, his spine, and his brain. Jeff has VA insurance, but because of this rare disease, many of the treatments will not be covered. Jeff has lost some of his mental capacity and will not be able to work for the foreseeable future.

Treatment Plan
Jeff is currently at the Intermountain Southern Utah Neurosciences Institute, where his excellent neurologist and infectious disease doctors are working with specialists around the nation to treat his brain and spine. Once Jeff is stabilized, it is anticipated that he will be moving to other states and possibly other countries for treatment.
