Dear family, friends, and co-workers of Jeff Tarter,
A few weeks ago Jeff had undergone a colonoscopy, once this test was completed and the results were in the doctors ended up spotting an abnormality during the procedure. Now that the abnormality was spotted, they went ahead and did more biopsies, as well as several other tests. Once these tests were completed, the results had revealed that Jeff was diagnosed Stage 4 rectal cancer.
Eventually, doctors decided that several more tests were needed, the results came back and the doctors discovered that the cancer cells have metastasized to his liver.
Many, if not all of us, have known someone or experienced for themselves the horrific news of being told that a loved one or you, yourself have been diagnosed cancer.
He will be starting is treatment plan out with 48 hours of Chemo with 14 days off and then the next dose again after that. That is, and will be the current treatment plan as of now.
At this time we're expecting a long battle ahead of us.
Jeff is a fighter, he has an amazing support system in place, including his amazing wife, kids, friends and family. He is not alone in this battle, we will fight it with him and if anyone can make it through, it is him.
Our family & friends of Jeff Tarter want to do everything in our power to make sure his family is at ease, taken care of and financially worry free during this process.
If you can help out in anyway we would greatly appreciate it. If you cannot donate financially and are able to bring them a meal or anything at that matter, please contact me and we can set up an arrangement.
Please pray for Jeff Tarter & family as they begin this process.
