I am Mohamad Soliman, living with my family in Gaza, where nothing is certain except for pain and destruction.

We are a small family, trying to survive amid the siege that makes each day more difficult than the last.

Every morning, we wake up to the same painful question: "What will we eat today?"

My children and siblings look at me with eyes full of fear, and every time I try to provide something simple, the rising prices stand in our way, keeping us from even a loaf of bread.

Getting flour has become a distant dream, and nothing can restore our hope amidst this extreme inflation.

In our home, there is no electricity or clean water.

We spend long nights with empty stomachs, trying to close our eyes with the hope that tomorrow will be better, but the truth is, tomorrow doesn't seem any better.

Destruction is in every corner, dreams are lost, and every time we try to smile, the reality is too harsh for the heart to bear.

A few days ago, my little brother asked me:

"Will we live like this forever?"

And I am powerless to answer, because all I can do is hold them and tell them that we will stay here, despite everything.

"My family doesn't want much... we just want to eat, drink clean water, and live with dignity."
