Dear Friends, Family, Church Family and Kind Strangers,

I am writing this with a heavy heart and a sense of desperation, hoping that somehow, someone will hear my plea and lend a helping hand in a time of unimaginable stress and fear. I find myself in a situation that I never thought I would face—struggling to keep a roof over my family's head and the lights on. Every day is a constant battle, and I feel overwhelmed by the weight of the mounting bills and looming eviction notice.

Due to a series of unexpected financial setbacks—whether it's a loss of job hours, health challenges, or other unforeseen circumstances—I've fallen behind on my rent and utility payments. Despite my best efforts to catch up, I’m now facing the very real threat of eviction and having essential services like electricity and water shut off. This is more than just a financial burden; it’s an emotional and psychological toll that feels like a constant weight on my shoulders. The fear of losing my home, the place where I feel safe and care for my family, is something that’s hard to put into words.

I am reaching out to you all because I need help—desperately. The money I’m raising will go directly to covering my rent and utility costs so that I can avoid eviction and the disconnection of essential services. With your support, I will be able to keep my home and continue fighting for a better future. Every single contribution, no matter how small, brings me closer to relief and provides a glimmer of hope in this dark time.

You may be saying to yourself and/or wanting to suggest that I get help from different agencies or even apply for a loan to help alleviate this financial burden. Believe me, I have tried that with every resource that is available in the area. With the loan attempts I have been told that I do not make enough to pay the loan off in a timely manner. With the other resources I have been told that I make too much to qualify. Go figure.

My household consists of myself, my youngest daughter and her 11-month-old daughter, my youngest son and his girlfriend who is due to give birth on December 14th and my fur babies. No time is a good time for us to lose our home, but the middle of winter is definitely the worst time.

I know these are challenging times for everyone, and I don’t ask for help lightly. But I’ve come to the point where I have no other choice. I’ve always tried to be independent, but right now, I need others to lift me up so that I can regain my footing. If you can’t contribute financially, I completely understand.
