A Covid Story

Hi, My name is Joe.

I am fundraising for a family that lost three family members to Covid in the last ten months.

In February 2022, my friend passed after a stay in the ICU. He was only 45.

The same week, his wife's sister passed away from Covid.
She was in. her early 40's.
Early in 2021, the 80-plus -year old father/grandfather contracted Covid and passed away.

He was a craftsman who mastered his trade over a lifetime, and he was the centerpiece of a magnificent family.

 

Within days of my friend's passing, his landlord informed his wife that the rent had increased. She could not afford the increase on her own and is being forced to move with her three children. A family friend is sympathetic and is providing them with a home until they can move forward from the tragic passing of three family members.

 

My friend was a respected craftsman who spent his working life making this customer's home beautiful.
He wasn't rich. He worked hard and was trying to live the American dream.  He struggled to provide his kids with an education so they could have a better life than his.  He provided for his family while with us.
Now he's unexpectedly gone.
The wife and family need help.

 

I am asking my friends,  his colleagues in the construction trade and his former customers to help his family in their time of need.
I ask you to open your heart and your wallet and show them some kindness.
