A Courageous Love Story - Fischer Family

Scott and Deanna Fischer are in their 50's and have three sons. They have shared a beautiful love, proving complete devotion through good times and bad. The nightmare began 12 years ago as Deanna was diagnosed and treated for an aggressive form of breast cancer. She was a warrior and entered a clinical trial available to battle this rare type of cancer. She was only 1 of 2 survivors, from the clinical trial, who survived the treatment due to the devastating side effects.
Unfortunately, the protocol of the trials left her body destroyed and every day since has been a battle. Deanna suffers from indescribable ailments including chronic pain and combative dementia. Scott has been by her side, as her sole caregiver, giving all he has to help his beloved, very sick wife as well as raising their 3 amazing boys.
Scott now has worsening heart issues and other disorders brought on from the mounting stress of caregiving, fathering and being the only provider for their household.
Doctors have called him Superman, because he seemed to be able to do it all for many years. Unfortunately, in 2019 he was forced into early retirement due to the increasing demands of his caregiving and his own serious health issues.
Now, things have drastically taken a turn for the worst. Prior to Deanna’s breast cancer diagnoses, Scott was athletic, outgoing, and very active with his boys. Today, he has no income and little insurance. His application for disability has been denied. Scott is a great person faced with insurmountable stress, causing seizures, numbness and the inability to move his limbs which leads to frequent falls. He does his very best for his family every day, however, his entire family is in crisis. Scott is exhausted and overwhelmed. He is desperately in need of financial help.
For those of you who do not know Scott, Deanna or their 3 beautiful boys, please know that they ALL have hearts of gold and always go above and beyond to help those around them. Scott and his family are loved by so many across the entire state of Michigan and the entire country!
