A COMPREHENSIVE PROJECTS FOR ETHNIC MINORITES

Donation protected
BAME HUB-UK NETWORK organisation appeals to its members/friends, members of the public, and all well-wishers to give donations to support its comprehensive projects for ethnic minorities.  During this Covid-19 pandemic, our projects directly help vulnerable people from ethnic minority affected by the effects of COVID-19 and non-covid-19 challenges. We are Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) Hub-UK Network Community Interest Company (CIC), a non-profit organisation. BAME Hub-UK Network is a platform for BAME communities living in the UK and their friends who are non-BAME. We are a one-stop-shop across the UK, united under one umbrella, in our dedication to the BAME community empowerment. We use a multi-ethnic approach to help manage ethnic diversity with early intervention/prevention measures and the resolution of ethnic crisis and conflict resolution. Our vision is to empower and equip BAME communities and their families with skills to be self-sufficient that help them avoid pitfalls associated with lack of empowerment or lack of information. This will improve their social standing by being more cohesive, socially and economically, within the British Society as they build their lives in the UK. Our mission is to bridge the gap and improve communication between the UK mainstream and BAME communities. Please see more information on our website www.bamehubuk.org.

We receive high volumes of requests for food, toiletries, voucher, money, social support, etc., from our service users. BAME HUB-UK NETWORK delivers food parcels to needy families such as people with mental health difficulties and homelessness, asylum seekers, refugees and immigrants with no access to public recourse in various cities across the UK weekly. However, we experience a challenge because we cannot meet the high demand due to limited resources. Although, previously, we have successfully secured some food from local food banks to support our members few times. Unfortunately, the food banks have informed us they can only give them six times a year, meaning some of our service users have already received food from their local food banks six times. We are now appealing to well-wishers to give donations to support needy families during these unprecedented and challenging times.

Your contributions will buy non-food essentials,  African and Halal food, including fufu, tilapia fish, halal chicken/meat, maize meal, dried beans, green vegetables, basmati rice, toiletries etc.

Your donations will facilitate projects for young people such as juvenile justice programme, mentorship, career development. Especially to those who have lost their identity, self-worth or hate/blame the UK system for their challenging situation. This funding would help young people to achieve maximum potential so that they can remain safe in the community. Stay away from criminal and gang-related activities such as shootings, knife crime, drug dealings, shooting, grooming, drug trafficking, antisocial behaviour mainly associated with complex family issues, loss of cultural identity (partly due to suspected gang activity, extremism, and radicalisation.

Your donations will also help to assist vulnerable BAME communities who have been out of work for a long period due to illness, disability or lack of education and qualifications with our '' BAME one step to work" initiative. This initiative helps them to work with us without judgement of their ability, disability or previous work experience. Also, work placement, attachment and internships will help BAME communities to engage in British civic life and thereby contribute to the wider society socially and economically. This also helps to strengthen community spirit, promote, empower, contribute to the British economy, and enhance social cohesion and integration for BAME communities at large.

Your donations will also help us deliver other comprehensive projects because we run different projects across the UK. Most of our activities, support, and intervention centred in correspondence to ethnic minorities values and needs, such as to advance social cohesion and inclusion by reducing isolation and social exclusion, to advocate for equality, diversity and justice; to improve access for marginalised BAME groups to social welfare and immigration such as legal advice regarding immigration and asylum, housing and financial support, healthcare and education; to provide children & youth empowerment programmes, to deliver mentorship, career development, nurturing talents, financial advice, and recreational and juvenile justice program; to promote overall health and mental health support programmes; to create 3000 jobs across the UK through employment, internship, work placement and voluntary jobs;  provide support and feeding programmes for vulnerable people, e.g., asylum seekers, refugees, immigrants with little or no access to public recourse and people with mental health difficulties and homelessness; to offer international and cultural exchange programmes; to improve cultural cohesion and understanding by fostering cooperation and collaboration within BAME communities and the UK mainstream.

We hope to receive your donations to employ more staff members who can be reliable and deliver our services effectively and professionally. Your donations will also help develop good governance, staff training, computers, and IT upgrades, cover travelling/transport costs, pay the office bills, run the cost of day-to-day expenses, and volunteer/interpreter/translator expenses.

We say a big thank you in advance for your support and donations.
