We wanted to share an update on Prudence and continue thanking everyone who has supported Jerome, Angela, and their family over the last few weeks. She is the daughter of our South Side kitchen manager, Jerome. He is a very hard working employee of ours and we are more than happy to be by him and his family's side during this time.

Since Prudence was seriously injured on May 7 (Read Here), the amount of love shown by this community has been unbelievable. From donations and meals to messages, prayers, and shares, every bit of support has meant the world to their family during an incredibly difficult time.

Prudence is still recovering at UPMC Children’s Hospital and is expected to remain there through at least early June as she continues rehabilitation and therapy. She has now undergone 4 surgeries and is working hard every single day to regain her strength. Recently, she began taking small assisted steps with the help of hospital staff and a specialized walker.

While her progress has been encouraging, the road ahead is still long. As the family prepares for Prudence’s eventual return home, they are facing additional medical, accessibility, transportation, and housing-related expenses while also balancing time away from work to remain by her side.
