A Community Support System

For so many underserved communities, a safe place to receive the resources, skills, and support services they need is not a reality. In 2019, 57% of children in Georgia were living in low-income households, where more than 30 percent of the monthly income was spent on rent, mortgage payments, taxes, insurance, and/or related expenses. Historically, low-income youth may live in physical environments that offer less stimulation, fewer resources for learning, and have a negative perspective of their futures. Poverty rates are increasing nationwide, the pandemic has propelled our community into isolation, and mental health issues have worsened considerably. We hope to make a difference in the metro-Atlanta area and surrounding counties, but we need your help.
