A Community of Illustrators Annual Fund

The Baltimore Academy of Illustration (BAI) is in its fifth year. During that time, we have worked hard to supply scholarships and a creative home for everyone with talent in and around the community . . . and we do find them.
Those who take our classes (about 400 folks so far), and even those tangentially aware of BAI, know that we accommodate everyone with desire and skill (and frequently help individuals find that skill as well as their artistic voices). To do so, we juggle money (often from our own pockets) and work with dozens and dozens of students to supply full and partial scholarships. We are not driven by anything but goodwill. For these reasons, we are ever in need of financial gifts.
Our Community of Illustrators Annual Fund once more seeks to raise money for scholarships, extra class hours, and the constant flow of supplies shared and used by all. We seek to maintain the facilities, justify spending hours outside of class - as in publication and job research, reading, and individual meetings - as well as all of the additional experiences and hundreds of hours that we provide everyone.
We ask for your help and generosity to continue offering our programing for everyone interested in illustrations, art, and stories.
Though BAI flies under the local media, we steadfastly continue to nurture the regional arts scene. We believe in Maryland's artists (though we believe in those who travel from New York City, Northern Virginia, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania, too), no matter their means, age, or education. Artists find us. And we help them grow.
Please donate generously to the Community of Illustrators Annual Fund.
