A Community Friend In Need - Lorraine Payette

As most of you are now aware, while away, taking care of her bed ridden Mother, Lorraine's home burnt to the ground.

For anyone who has been to any of our local events, big or small, Lorraine was probably there covering it for Post Media/Brockville Recorder & Times/Gan Reporter. Her eclectic way of interviewing and writing makes her stories stand out and have always captivated us and kept us informed.

Now is the time for our community to show what community is all about.

Let's rally behind Lorraine in her time of need and show her we care, appreciate and sympathise with the loss of all of her material possessions.

Obviously any form of donation including, clothing, food and shelter is appreciated, the best way to assist is through a financial donation that allows Lorraine to source out what she knows she needs now.

Every single dollar counts and so please, give from your heart remembering the importance of what community truly means.

And please, one of the best ways for us to help Lorraine is share this post as much as possible, so that those not necessarily following this site, also are made aware of this tragedy and the need for help
