Coach Lance has been more than just a soccer coach to many of us — he has been a mentor, a guide, and for some of us, even a father figure.

For years in Weston, Coach Lance has dedicated his time, energy, and heart to helping young players grow not only on the field but in life. He has always believed in us, pushed us to be better, and most importantly, been there whenever someone needed help. If you ever needed advice, support, or simply someone to believe in you, Coach Lance was always there. He has never been the type of person to say “no” when someone needed a hand.

For me personally, Coach Lance means even more. When I first arrived in this country, he was one of the people who gave me a chance and helped guide me during a difficult time. In many ways, I am the person I am today because of the support, lessons, and encouragement he gave me. He didn’t just teach soccer — he helped shape lives.

Today, Coach Lance is facing one of the toughest challenges of his life. He needs an open-heart surgery that comes with very high medical costs. While insurance will cover part of the procedure, a large portion of the expenses will still fall on him and his family.

For someone who has spent so many years helping others without asking for anything in return, this is our moment to be there for him.
