Thieves have repeatedly targeted a church on greenwood road, Hackney E8. Last month, the church was burgled, and some equipment was stolen, though the total value at the time was lower. However, last night, the thieves returned and stole everything, including 15 microphones, amplifiers, mixers, keyboards, drums, large speakers, antique crosses (some gold), and large bells. In total, well over £10,000 worth of items were stolen. They left behind cigarettes and can drinks in the alter, but the police declined to collect them for forensic evidence. The church is now in urgent need of support, and any donations to help restore some of their equipment and continue their services would be greatly appreciated.
