Hello, my name is Tiffany-Saint Monche, and I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to share my story. I’m 36 years old, a single parent, an artist, and an advocate. I live with HIV, hypothyroidism, and chronic digestive issues, which have made everyday life a challenge. Along with my 11-year-old child, our dog, and two cats, we’re navigating life together, but I’m reaching out now because I need help.

For years, I’ve been struggling with severe digestive problems as a result of 10 abdominal surgeries, including kidney surgery, appendix removal, an umbilical hernia repair, and six surgeries related to my womb, which ultimately led to a full hysterectomy. These procedures caused significant damage to my pelvic floor, and unfortunately, my condition has only worsened this year. Currently, I’m hospitalized, unable to eat for two weeks and still here fighting to keep anything including meds down. The doctors are working hard to figure out what’s going on, but in the meantime, I’m being fed through a nasogastric

My health issues have made it impossible for me to work right now. The mounting bills, coupled with the lack of income, have left me in a position where I’m forced to choose between my financial stability and my health—and that’s not a choice I want to make.

I’m asking for help, not just to survive, but to regain the ability to thrive. My goal is to afford the basic necessities of life while I focus on finding a path to healing. Being able to focus on my health without the constant worry about how I’ll care for my home and family would mean everything to me.
