Help with medical bills and funeral expenses for Robert

Hello my name is Lenora and I am Robert Hamlins fiancee and he was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer back in August and he has been doctoring almost everyday since then but the beginning of November I had to go on unpaid medical leave from work to be Roberts full time caregiver and he has been battling cancer and multiple hospital stays. The beginning of December he has been hospitalized almost the whole month due to his cancer progressing and causing further issues as his chemo and immunotherapy didn't work for the cancer. We are just asking for any help we can get at this time as we have a 11 year old son and we have been traveling back and forth to the hospital with him and I have been staying 24/7 with Robert in the hospital. When they release Robert from the hospital we have to stay close to there as we live around 3 hours from the hospital. We are asking for help as we have medical bills, personal bills and food and lodging when Grandma and our son come spend time with Robert. We are also wanting to have a present or 2 for our son on Christmas we know that having family is the best present ever and we are greatful for that but Robert wants to make this year special as we don't know what treatments they can further due as he is needing blood and plasma transfusions and fluid withdrawn so that delays the very strong chemo treatments he will be needing but he has to be strong enough to receive them but we are currently battling something with his kidneys as well so if you want to donate please feel free but no pressure all we are needing extremely are prayers. Update on 12/24/24

Robert is now not strong enough to be able to receive his new treatment plan so they are continuing to keep him as strong as they can until he is able to be moved to a nursing home but right now all the nearest one to here and from home are not taking new residents but in the mean time they will continue to care for Robert. His cancer is very aggressive at this time and continued to battle him daily but his wish is to be with his family on Christmas so they are striving to make that happen he isn't in pain yet but without treatment his life is day to day now which he has to decide when he wants to be put on hospice which will be in the very near future as there is nothing more they can do for him as he is terminal and not cureable which completely breaks my heart but I don't want him to suffer in anyway so whenever he makes that decision I have to accept it. Robert and I just wanted to say from our family to yours

Update on Robert a couple of days ago Robert started to have some issues with having a clear mind and they have given him a medication to help with that but it is not working so we will be keeping him comfortable till his passing so at this time we are needing lots of thoughts and prayers for Robert and our family in this very difficult time.

Will keep everyone posted on funeral information but I will still be off work for awhile yet to try to get affairs in order and to get everything back on track so times will still be very tough for our family.

Robert passed away today at 12:42pm

We will be having a funeral so will fill in that information when I receive.
