This Christmas, we’re on a mission to spread joy, hope, and opportunity across our Assyrian communities.
From the children in our villages to the students chasing their dreams, and the youth building unity through sports — every contribution makes a difference.
This Christmas, we have THREE goals:
1. Deliver Christmas joy & gifts to 600 children in 15 Assyrian villages across northern Iraq: Sarsing, Amedia, Bebedeh, Enishkeh, Behzaneh, Merkeh, Alfaf, Maghara, Baraka, Komaneh, Hamzyeh, Belijaneh, Benatha, Sardava, and Bahzaneh. We only need $15 per child.
2. Host the Samih & David Co-ed Volleyball Tournament in Bakhdida, Nineveh. This exciting event brings together young Assyrian men and women from over 16 teams from different Assyrian cities and villages to connect, exchange, compete, and celebrate unity through sports in a fun and uplifting atmosphere. We need $6,000 to cover jerseys, transportation, water, referees’ fees, and trophies.
3. Provide one year of tuition for 20 Assyrian university students in Armenia from the villages of Dvin, Arzni, Kulyasar, and Shahryar. We need an average of $1,000 per student.
In northern Iraq, we are collaborating with our local churches and village youth committees. In Bakhdida, we are partnering with the Qaraqosh Sports Club. And in Armenia, we are working alongside the Gabbara Assyrian Youth Organization and the Assyrian Church of the East.
Giving is a Christmas tradition. This year, let’s give together — to spread joy among 600 children, strengthen community through sports, and empower 20 Assyrian students through education.
Taudi, Basimeh Raba, and Thank You!
