Chickens for Orphans by Christmas!

Mother Germaine and her Sisters care for 100 children in the Democratic Republic of the Congo with no government, church or grant support. Mother has requested the funds to purchase some laying hens for the orphanage to supply eggs for the children to eat. Currently, the children are blessed to eat meat (chicken or goat) about once per month. They rarely have fresh eggs.

We wish to raise $220 to purchase hens and feed. 15 hens will provide enough eggs for all the children to enjoy a feast of scrambled eggs once a week. Any and all funds that are above the $220 will go to their regular monthly food bill (which is $950/month for the 150 of them).
