A Christmas Day Tragedy, Grandfather, Father Dies in Fire

Unfortunately it was not the happiest of holidays for some families. Our dear friend Newton Buchanan died in a Christmas Day fire. He went to spend the holidays with his friends in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. The home caught fire. 9 people were inside and he was the only one who did not make it out.
This was a very devastating loss at this special time of year.
The family is preparing for his funeral and while they are providing for their loved one's final send off so many people have reached out with compassion and generosity. i have known this incredible man and his beautiful family for over 30 years and really just have no words. I hope to gather donations here to support their efforts through this unfortunate loss.
Newton was a father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend to many beautiful souls. He leaves behind 4 kids, 11 grandkids and his wife.
