A Christmas Blessing for the Johnston Family

Dear friends,

We are reaching out to you today to bring awareness to the story of our friend, LeAnn Johnston. A loving mother of four beautiful children who tragically lost her husband to suicide two years ago. December 17th will forever be the day that changed their lives. The battle with mental illness may have taken Oliver from this earth, but it gave the Johnston family testimony the power to reach people and change lives. God is faithful, His purpose is greater, and His plan is always perfect. Her husband, Oliver, made such a positive impact on so many lives. He was a great man, father, husband, son, brother, mentor, friend, hard worker, and adventurer. Our hope is to bring awareness to some and memories to others, of the heartbreaking yet faith-building story. Right now his family would be blessed by any support.  

The previous GoFundMe was an amazing outpouring of love and generosity. It truly helped bless them in an unbearable time.

Two years later…

LeAnn and her children are holding on daily and trusting God. She is doing her best to provide for her children despite the overwhelming circumstances and tragedy. Her strong faith has been keeping her going and we believe that by coming together as a compassionate community we can make a difference in their lives throughout this grieving process.

 The burden of providing for four growing children alone can take a toll.

Not only is LeAnn trying hard to keep and run her husband’s business but also Homeschools their four children. Trinity is 14 and loves riding horses, baking, and helping her mama around the small family ranch, Kingston who is 11 stood next to his mama after his father passed and said “I’m the man of the family and the house now.” He helps keep the family business running, loves dirt biking like his dad, and has truly become the man of the house. Genesis who is 6 loves dancing, gymnastics, and riding horses as well, and little Hope, who sadly never had the chance to meet her amazing father, is only 19 months old. 

While this time of year brings so much joy to most, it is especially hard for LeAnn and the children coming up to the anniversary of their loss.

We are launching this GoFundMe campaign to help support LeAnn and her four children in this trying time. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to alleviate their immediate financial burden and provide them with some much-needed stability. By coming together as a community, we can make a significant impact on their lives and help them to heal and not stress more after such a tragic loss and now huge void. Let’s give LeAnn a Blessing that can impact her and her children’s lives this Christmas!
