Help ChristianFight Cancer and Reclaim His Childhood
Our sweet boy Christian is 5 years old- but already, he’s been through more than most of us will in a lifetime. Diagnosed with a aggressive form of cancer, in September last year he has been robbed of the carefree childhood every child deserves.
He was supposed to start school last September, excited to begin a new chapter just like any other child. But cancer changed everything. Instead of classrooms and playgrounds, Christian now spends his days in hospital wards, hooked up to machines, facing painful chemotherapy treatments and exhausting procedures.
Since then, he’s endured unimaginable pain. He can no longer walk properly and relies on physiotherapy and wheelchair. His muscles are weak, he can’t eat without a feeding tube, and he spends more time in hospital than at home due to constant infections .Every month, he must undergo chemotherapy and have his feeding tube replaced. The treatments are intense, invasive, and exhausting—not just physically, but emotionally.
Perhaps even harder than the physical toll is what this illness has done to Christian's spirit.
Christian is also struggling with depression. Some days, he tells his parents he thinks he’s going to die. It’s heartbreaking for any parent to hear their child say those words. He’s no longer the joyful, playful child he once was. And homeschooling has become nearly impossible due to his emotional distress, pain, and constant medical appointments.
This family’s world has been turned upside down.
His dad , who was the one supporting the family financially, had to give up work to care for Christian full-time.
His mum is managing the household and trying to hold everyone together while juggling the constant emotional weight of watching their child suffer, while caring for Christian's 3-year-old sister, who has recently been hospitalised due to unexplained seizures—and a 4-month-old baby brother who also needs constant care.
They are a young, loving family doing their absolute best in an impossible situation. But emotionally and financially, they’re exhausted. And they can’t do this alone. They never expected to be in this position—caring for a critically ill child around the clock, and struggling to pay for basic living expenses while their world is collapsing
How You Can Help
Your donation—no matter the amount—will help Christian and his family in the following ways
* Monthly travel to hospital for chemotherapy
* At-home medical equipment and care supplies
* Basic household bills while both parents care full-time
* Support for his siblings, especially with recent medical concerns
* Emotional and mental health support for Christian during treatment
* Small comforts to bring moments of joy back into Christian's life
Christian's loves trains, monster trucks, and Minecraft. He misses being able to play, laugh, and dream freely. With your help, we can ease this family’s burden and give Christian's back some of the childhood cancer has stolen.
Please consider donating, sharing, and keeping Christian in your thoughts. Every little bit of kindness matters.
Let’s help Christian fight—and remind this family they’re not alone.
