I am Natalie Sutton, an elementary school teacher. I know a very bright, loving, resilient child who faces daily challenges due to limited mobility. Despite these challenges, they continue to bring joy, laughter, and determination into every room.

One of the greatest barriers they face is the lack of independence to move freely alongside peers in certain places. A power wheelchair and accessories would open up a world of opportunities, from joining peers on play equipment to participating in community events and enjoying everyday experiences with friends.

Unfortunately, insurance does not cover the full cost of an electric wheelchair, and many people bound to a wheelchair receive one wheelchair in a three to five-year period. Children grow at a quick rate, as we all know, and environments, interests, and hobbies change as well.

The obstacles this child faces daily are things that I take for granted. I am asking for anyone who can help by contributing, no matter the size, to help me give this child the independence they deserve.
