A child friendly ward for children with cancer in Ghana

Donation protected
I have started a fundraiser to help make a children’s cancer ward in Ghana more welcoming and child friendly. I would be really grateful if you could donate or share the link with others.

I’ve just returned from another impactful work trip. While in Ghana, I visited Agogo Presbyterian Hospital, a shared care centre where children can receive chemotherapy closer to home, rather than making long journeys to main treatment centres.

The paediatric team are doing incredible work with limited resources. Currently, the ward is dark, plain, and feels quite forbidding when you enter. Our aim is to transform it into a colourful, welcoming, and child friendly space for children undergoing gruelling chemotherapy treatment.

I would love to help improve the ward so it feels calmer and more comforting for the children and I am hoping to raise some funds to make that happen.

It’s not often you get a chance, when donating to charity, to give 100% of your money directly to the cause. Here is your chance (aside from the small % taken by the fundraising platform). I'm hugely grateful for anything you can give.

Thank you so much.
