On October 19th, 2019 I'll be participating in a Star Course - a 26.2 mile challenge around the city of Philadelphia.  The "star" represents the 5 location points I'll be required to hit on the course.  I have 11 hours to complete the challenge.   The 5 required points will not be revealed until within 24 hours of the start time (6 AM) and I'll need to plot my course to achieve the goal in the shortest distance, 26.2 miles being the minimum.  Oh, one more thing:  I'll be carrying a 10 pound weight in a backpack that I will be required to carry the entire time. I'll be carrying all my water and snacks with me as well, in order to minimize stops and breaks.  You can check my progress during this challenge on Instagram, @celestestarita.
For me, this challenge is about supporting programs that support girls in the city I love, while channeling my own strength of mind and body in the service of doing good works.  Please support my walk in any way you can!
