A Celebration of Life for Victor Manuel Marin

On January 25th, 2025, my father, Victor Manuel Marin, passed away unexpectedly. It was devastating and heartbreaking to my family. My father just turned 55 years old December 30th.

He was a son, a brother, a husband, a father and was known as “Papa” to his three grandchildren: Xavier(11), Kaia(6), and Estella (7 1/2 months).

He wasn’t shy to start a conversation and he always cracked jokes whenever he could. He was goofy, caring, loving, and never gave up on the people closest to him. My dad was a great friend. He was the type of person to drop everything to help his family and friends whether it was somebody feeling sick or just having car troubles, he always found a solution. He was always checking in with his loved ones to make sure they were happy and doing okay.

My father wasn’t just my best friend and a super dad, he took pride in being a Papa. He was very close to his grandchildren and took every opportunity to spoil them. His grandkids were his pride and joy, especially Xavier who was very close with my dad.

My mom and dad were high school sweethearts and spent well over half their lives with each other. My parents were about to celebrate their 32nd wedding anniversary February 15th.
