Hello, my name is Bo Wang. I am 45 years old and a carpenter by trade. For many years, I supported my family with my own two hands, building homes and furniture for others. Though the work was tough, I felt proud to provide a stable life for my wife and our son.
But life has taken a cruel turn. Last year, I was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer with bone metastasis. I am now undergoing long rounds of chemotherapy and medication. The treatments have left me extremely weak, and I struggle daily with severe bone pain, nausea, and sleepless nights. Worst of all, I can no longer work.
Our family’s situation is heartbreaking:
• My 16-year-old son is in high school. He should be focusing on learning and growing, but instead he carries the heavy burden of my illness.
• My wife is currently doing an unpaid internship at a kindergarten and gives a few piano lessons part-time, but the income is minimal.
• With no stable source of income, our savings are gone, and bills, rent, and medical costs are crushing us.
We have always worked hard and lived with dignity, never imagining that one day we would have to ask for public help. But now, we truly have no other choice.
Every donation, no matter how small, will be life-saving for us.
It will help me continue my treatment, ease my suffering, and give my wife and son the basic security they need.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your kindness and generosity. Your support brings us hope and strength, and gives me the courage to keep fighting—so I can continue to be there for my son as he grows up.
