Hello! I created this GoFundMe campaign for William Clausen, He is a very talented artist and musician, who could really use a bit of help right now! Unfortunately, a few weeks ago Will's 2005 truck took its last breath! So, I am asking that you PLEASE, PLEASE find it in your heart and wallet to donate to raise money for Will to buy a used car. Or, if you have a working vehicle in good condition that you would like to donate, that would be much appreciated.

For the past few years, Will has been dealing with a number of health issues that forced him to severely cut back on his ability to work. Without a steady income, Will had to move into a small trailer, which does not have running water. Which means that he has to travel many miles to a place where he can use a shower. So, if anyone reading this has an apartment that they would be willing to rent to Will, that would be an amazing bonus! (At the moment, he can afford to pay around $400.00 total monthly rent).

On a positive note, Will's health has improved enough in the past few months to where he has been able to slowly start working on art projects again. Currently, he is creating a special project with another artist in Borrego Springs. And he recently put out some new music.

About William, I met Will many years ago at the San Diego Comic-Con. For more then four decades he has created a wide variety of artwork for a number of companies. One of the works he is known for is the Leprechaun comic book. He also has worked on Marvel's Silver Surfer Comic, and he was one of the creators of Chameleon Commandos and Rivit comics. He was also asked to create a special comic as a tribute to one of the Comic-Con founders.

Will has worked with many recognized musicians, including Stephan Ellis from the group Survivor, Redbone, and Cat Stevens. He was also commissioned to design a concert poster for the Stone Temple Pilots.

Some of the many artist friends Will has made over the years include Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, Will Eisner, Neil Adams, Ray Bradbury, George Clayton Johnson and William F. Nolan (writers of Logan's Run), Mike Royer, June Foray (voice of 'Rocky' in Rocky & Bullwinkle cartoons), Willie Ito (Emeritus Disney animator), Jackie Estrada (Comic-Con Eisner Awards), Scott Smith (Created Comic-Con's media department), Shel Dorf (Comic-Con Founder), Rick Geary, and Kenny Aronoff.

Many thanks to every kind and generous person who donates!
