Marwa, Assad and their 4 children are refugees from Syria. They arrived in the U.S. last fall and are living in El Cajon. They are warm loving people who want to share their culture (Marwa is an amazing cook!) and to learn English and become Americans. We met through the Syrian Community Network's Heart for Refugees program and have been helping them get settled.
Their greatest need is for a car. They would like to work but potential jobs are far from their home. They would like to be able to go food shopping, take their children to playgrounds and to meet other Syrian families. Their apartment complex in El Cajon has no other Arabic speaking families so they feel isolated and lonely.
A car would transform their life. Money raised from this campaign would be put towards a car and other associated expenses.
Thank you for considering supporting this special family.
