A car for anonymous friend

Hi everyone! We hoping to raise $3000 to buy a reliable car for one of our dearest friends who is like family to us. A few months ago her car (which is already plagued with incessant problems) began filling up with water and consequently growing mold. Our sweet friend has had severe reactions to the mold because of her silent battle with multiple chronic illnesses. If you know anything about mold, it has debilitating side-effects particularly for people who already gave chronic health issues. Despite her best efforts and the help of a kind-hearted mechanic, it’s been impossible to get her AC working or to stop the water coming in the car and rid it of the mold. To top it off, yesterday while she was at work, someone hit and ran her car in the parking lot.
Our friend doesn’t have any earthly family to have her back when things like this happen. We’ve never seen someone work so hard while being so sick. She also does so much to help her body, mind, and spirit heal from the cards life has dealt, but like all of us sometimes just needs a little help.
We found a great, reliable, used car on fb marketplace that I think would be perfect for her! No mold, working AC (it’s incredibly hot in TN right now), relatively low mileage for a Toyota. Anything we raise above the goal will go to registration and then to help cover medical bills.
We’re keeping our friend anonymous because she would HATE to have attention brought to her and we want to surprise her with this outpouring of love. Anything you can give to help our sweet friend means the world to us and would undoubtedly bless her! Once we get her a new vehicle, we will be helping her get the mold spores out of her belongings and body so that she can continue on her healing journey ♥️
