My name is Karen Nimmo. I am fundraising for my big brother Brett Nimmo to give him his bucket list wish and create precious memories with my three beautiful nephews, Lachlan, Ethan, and Ryley and my sister-in-law Mandy.

All proceeds go to Brett and Mandy to give their boys some precious time with their Dad.

Anyone who has met my brother will know what a legend he is and how much he has given to others. Brett is one of those damn good blokes, who will always help a mate out or give someone a hand in need. He is the life of the party and his banter and humour is priceless.

But most importantly, I can say Brett is one of the most dedicated Dads I know and a loving husband. Brett's family is his absolute life and everything Brett has done is all about giving his family the best life he can.

Having Brett in your life creates memories and friendships that will last a lifetime!

What some of you may not know, is that Brett was diagnosed with a rare aggressive form of bile duct cancer called Klatskin Tumor (Hilar cholangiocarcinoma) in February 2022. This has been devastating news for him and his beautiful family and all those around Brett to come to terms with.

Sadly the various treatments like chemo, surgeries and drug trial options have not been successful to treat this rare cancer and it has progressed to Stage IV throughout his liver. But even with all of these odds being stacked against him, Brett is still keeping positive and is fighting hard to fight this beast and be there for his family.

But time and quality of life are incredibly precious now.

Brett's bucket list wish is to take his family to the "Zoofari Lodge Experience at Taronga Western Plains Zoo Dubbo" This is a lifetime experience where you get to stay overnight and be surrounded by antelope and giraffe-filled enclosures. A truly unique experience to create precious memories with his family.
