A Call for Urgent Support: Assisting Fatima and Her Family

Donation protected
My name is Samar, and I am raising funds to provide critical, life-saving assistance to Fatima and her family, who are enduring immense hardship in war-torn Yemen. After coming across Fatima's deeply moving story on social media, I was heartbroken to learn about her daily struggles and the conditions her family is enduring.

Fatima, only 15 years old, has bravely assumed responsibility for her bedridden mother and two younger siblings, aged 8 and 10, after the passing of their father several years ago. Every day, Fatima walks over a kilometre to fetch just 10 litres of drinking water from a distant spring. Meals are scarce; often, their only sustenance is bread and water, leaving them going to sleep hungry night after night. Her younger siblings cannot attend school because of the inability to afford school fees, limiting their hope for a brighter future.

Fatima is bravely fighting to sustain her family, but she can’t do it alone.

The family urgently requires medication costing 30,000 Yemeni Riyals ($50 USD) monthly to keep her mother's health stable, along with food, water, and secure shelter. They currently live in a precarious rented room with a collapsing roof and accumulated rent debt, facing imminent eviction.

My goal is to raise sufficient funds to cover their immediate needs: medicine, food, clean drinking water, and monthly rent. All donations will be sent securely through MoneyGram, a trusted organisation, ensuring Fatima and her family receive the aid quickly and safely.

Your contribution can significantly improve their living conditions, offering safety, nourishment, and dignity to Fatima and her family.

Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) emphasised the immense significance of the sacred month of Dhu al-Hijjah, encouraging us to increase our good deeds and charity during this blessed time, as good deeds performed during these days are especially beloved to Allah.

Please donate today—every contribution makes a critical difference.

Bismillāh-ir-Raḥmān-ir-Raḥīm

Jazakum Allahu Khayran to all who have donated and shared this cause thus far—may Allah (‎ﷻ) reward you abundantly in both this life and the next.

I wish to share an urgent and heartbreaking update: Fatima and her family are currently in a critical state. The mother’s health has severely deteriorated, and without immediate medical intervention, her life is at serious risk.

We place our trust in Allah alone—"Hasbunallahu wa ni’mal wakeel"—for it is only through His mercy that circumstances can change.

I appeal to each and every one of you, my dear brothers and sisters in Islam: please give whatever you can, for the sake of Allah (‎ﷻ). Let your generosity be a means of relief for this suffering family and a path for you towards Jannatul Firdaws.

No act of charity is ever wasted. Even a small contribution can be the difference between despair and hope, between hardship and healing.

May Allah (‎ﷻ) accept your efforts, multiply your rewards, and grant ease to all those in distress.

Jazakum Allahu Khayran wa BarakAllahu Feekum.

27th July:
Bismillāh-ir-Raḥmān-ir-Raḥīm

As-salāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh,
Alhamdulillah, through your generous contributions and the unexpected kindness of a neighbour, Fatima’s mother, Zainab, was able to receive the urgent medical care she so desperately needed. The situation was dire, and had help not arrived in time, the outcome could have been devastating.

While your donations played a crucial role, the bulk of the expenses were covered by a compassionate neighbour, who, despite not having much himself, stepped forward without hesitation to cover the outstanding amount—purely for the sake of Allah (‎ﷻ) and to save a life.

Now, I am reaching out once again, with sincerity and hope, to ask for your help in raising funds to repay this selfless man. He gave without expecting return, but it is only just that we come together to honour his generosity and relieve him of this burden.

Let us not allow one who gave so much in secret to be left carrying the weight alone. “Whoever relieves a believer of a hardship in this world, Allah will relieve him of a hardship on the Day of Judgment.” (Muslim)

Even a small amount, given with sincerity, can make a big difference. This is an opportunity to be part of a chain of goodness—a sadaqah jāriyah in aiding both Zainab and the man who helped her in her darkest hour.

Please donate what you can, and continue to share this campaign with others. May Allah (‎ﷻ) accept from us all, forgive our shortcomings, and grant ease to every struggling soul.

Jazakum Allahu Khayran wa BarakAllahu Feekum.
