A Call For Support in Aivy's Healing Journey

Dear Friends, Families, and Kind Strangers,

I never imagined I'd be writing this, but life has a way of humbling us in ways we never expect. I'm reaching out to share a deeply personal journey - I've been walking for over a year now with breast cancer.

As someone who has spent years in healthcare, I understood the weight of this diagnosis the moment I heard it. It was terrifying. Given my fragile immune system, autoimmune conditions, and history of frequently getting sick, I chose to focus on integrative therapies throughout last year. It was a decision I was at peace with knowing that my immune system needed help.

For over a year, my body responded well. Everything remained stable, even at the start of this year, my scans showed no progression. I held onto hope that I was on the right path.

But in March, everything changed. My latest scan showed that the tumor had doubled in size. I now need to take a different approach and after much research, I found a medical facility in Mexico that provides that treatment I need - one that integrates conventional therapies with additional medical support to help my body withstand the process.

This treatment, however, comes at a significant financial cost. $49,000 to be exact. Unfortunately, many of the treatments I've undergone over the past year were not covered by insurance, and between these medical expenses, medications, and daily living costs, the financial strain has been overwhelming for us.

Despite the challenges, my heart is filled with hope. Life is too beautiful to not fully experience, and I want nothing more than to heal and live a long, fulfilling life. There is so much I still want to do, see, and cherish. Healing isn’t just my goal—it’s my deepest desire.
