A Call for Support for Ms. Angela Vance Jones

We are asking that you prayerfully consider helping this family.

Over the last year, Angela Vance Jones has been hospitalized multiple times. Most recently, between the months of December and January, she has been hospitalized 3 times. Her daughter Lashunda has been her in-home care giver since she became sick in the early months of 2021. Lashunda has not been able to work a physical job to draw any full income and benefits since then. She had started babysitting from home but she was trying to balance everything including her own children, their schoolwork and her schoolwork, their extracurricular activities all while taking care of Ms. Angela. When Lashunda tried returning to work in December as she saw much improvement in her mom's mobility, Ms. Angela went back downhill 2 days before Christmas. Lashunda and her kids became sick and she is still trying to balance it all again. During this last hospital stay in which she still remains, they found blood clots in her lungs, and being that she hasn't been able to get up without Lashunda lifting her or walk without her walker, they are recommending rehabilitation to gain all her strength back. Ms. Angela does not have any insurance and at this point bills are piling up for her and her daughter. If you are able to help this family, please help. Update: Ms. Angela is home now. Lashunda just tried to get her meds and the total is $1219.03....the major one she needs for the blood clots is $99 and the other one is $587.
