Hi, I'm Robert. I am here today in support of my sister and her kids, who tragically lost everything in the recent Eaton Canyon fire. They were among the first to notice the flames approaching, but having been through similar situations in the past, they remained hopeful, thinking they’d be able to return home as they had in previous years. Sadly, when they arrived back today, their worst fears were realized everything they had worked for, every memory they cherished, was reduced to ashes.
I know there are countless families in need right now, and this is not easy for us to ask, but I’m reaching out in hopes that we can provide some support to my sister and her children as they navigate through this devastating loss. My sister is one of the kindest, most selfless people I know she’s never one to ask for help, but the magnitude of this loss is beyond what she can manage on her own.
The images shared here show the heartbreaking reality of what they’ve been left with sifting through the rubble of their former home, looking for anything that might be salvageable. Unfortunately, there’s very little left. The funds we are seeking will go directly toward helping them replace the bare necessities: toiletries, clothes, shoes, and essential household items.
Any support, no matter how small, would make a huge difference in helping them start to rebuild their lives. Thank you so much for considering a donation, and please keep my sister and her family in your thoughts during this incredibly difficult time.
