First and foremost, this go fund me is on behalf of my brother Paul Anthony and my sister Esme. Paul Anthony is the type of person who always helps others when he can and he hates to ask for help himself, so we are telling him and Esme’s story to garner support and financial help for their future.
This is my new sister Esme, she is 25, she is funny beyond all heck, amazingly loving, compassionate, caring and is filled with light and positivity. She and my brother have been newly married for almost a year now and they have been together for about 6 years. We love her soo much but…..
In December 2025, just two months shy of their 1st wedding anniversary and just a few days after her 25th birthday their world shattered and changed forever.
Esme experienced a ruptured brain aneurysm and spent 18 days in the ICU. The first few days were scary; she underwent a procedure to stop the bleeding in her brain and many scans and tests upon tests to ensure its success.
Her recovery started slow; slurred speech, closed eyes and only some physical responses. But as the days passed, we witnessed a miracle right before our eyes.
God helped her find her strength to stand up and make the necessary steps to get better! Her speech came back, her eyes opened and she passed all her tests! Many do not recover in this way. Most often, aneurysms are fatal.
It is by the grace of God, the power of prayer and our faith that she is still here. She is now in rehab and making tremendous progress in her recovery.
Although Esme is set to go home soon, she will still be on the journey to healing. My brother is a loving and devoted husband to her and is beside himself with concern about her and their future and he is doing all he can to help her recover. We are hoping to relieve some of that financial stress and hardship with this GoFundMe.
May the Lord watch over you and bless you like he has blessed my brother with Esme. We are asking for help in either donations or sharing and reposting Esme's story so we can help them with their monthly bills and subsequent rehabilitation costs.
Each and every prayer, positive thought, and donation will forever be appreciated. Anything will help!
Thank you so much for reading Esme’s story.
