Hi, we’re Megan and Charlotte, and we’re currently volunteering as English teachers at the New Dream Cambodian Children Organization (NDCCO) in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

Every day, we teach children who are eager to learn but come from families who simply cannot afford education. This school gives them a chance to learn English, grow in confidence, and build a better future—something many of them would otherwise go without.

NDCCO is not just a school. It’s a place of safety, support, and care. It also provides meals for the children, which for some is one of the only reliable sources of food they receive. However, due to limited funding, the school can currently only afford to feed the children twice a week—on Thursdays and Fridays.

Seeing this firsthand has been both inspiring and heartbreaking. These children show up every day full of hope and determination, but the reality is that the organisation is struggling to provide the resources they so deeply need.
