A Bright Light No Longer Shines: Support David and Alexa.

Donation protected
Dear friends, family, loved ones, and anyone else who this may touch,

Sunday, November 24th 2024 this world lost one of it's brightest lights, Allison.

Allison and her family have had a very rough road. About six months after the love of her life, David, joined the family, her daughter Alexa was diagnosed with heart failure. Allison and David spent weeks bedside with Alexa through her diagnosis, heart surgery, and recovery. During this hospital stay, Alexa called David "Dad" for the very first time. A year and a half later, the heart valve Alexa received failed again. Again, Allison and David were right there by her side for weeks through a successful artificial valve replacement and recovery.

After a couple years, Allison started to get winded very easily, so she decided to get checked herself. This is when she received her own heart failure diagnosis. Allison had her own mitral valve replacement surgery in January 2024. After a lot of complications from the surgery, and a very unfortunate series of medical events that caused multiple hospitalizations, Allison passed away in the ICU at the age of 38 due to multiple organ failure with David by her her side.

Allison knew exactly how loved she was. Her years with David were FULL of love, laughter, and personal growth for both of them. Their love for each other and Alexa was obvious and undeniable. David quickly became the father that Alexa had always wanted and needed. Allison's dreams had really come true.

Allison was a hard-working, devoted mother to her daughter Alexa, and a dedicated partner to David. If you ever had the opportunity to meet Allison, her face and personality said everything you needed to know. She was smart, kind, beautiful, hilarious, loving, caring... I could go on all day. She is deeply missed by David, Alexa, their cat "Mr. Jim Business", her mom, Alice, her sisters and brother, and SO many loved ones.

All proceeds will be going to help David and Alexa during this impossible time. This will help them to provide cremation, as per Allison's wishes, a memorial ceremony, legal fees, and any other expenses related to figuring out this new life without Allison.
