On Friday December 22, our beloved coworker Luenda Thompson, 26, would suffer a very traumatic asthma attack. She was placed on life support. This news was met with a tremendous outpouring of love and prayers. Tragically, Luenda did not survive. Her sudden passing has left us deeply saddened. Luenda was a beautiful, smart, talented, loving, resilient and ambitious young woman. A beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Her 5yr old son, Krishna, was her pride and joy. She loved him so much and worked hard everyday for him. A beautiful person inside and out. Her bright smile, eagerness to learn, and love for all things beauty made Luenda a pleasure to be around. She inspired fearlessness everyday with her kind and courageous spirit. Always determined, no obstacle was insurmountable for her. Our Sephora Bk family will miss Luenda dearly. We want to honour her memory, the love she had for her son, and her passion for education by creating this fund for Krishnas' college education.
