I am Risyl, a low-waged, but hardworking Filipino worker. There’s a lot of good things to share about me, but for now, let me just emphasize that I am a sister who loves and cares for my brother a lot.

Strong in faith and love, I am writing this appeal to your good hearts.

My brother, a breadwinner of his little family, has recently been diagnosed with brain cancer – HIGH GRADE GLIOMA. Although all his symptoms started while at work as a seafarer, his company issued a certificate of non-work relation and to his worsening condition at the hospital despite his obvious financial helplessness due to prolonged hospitalization and skyrocketing cost of cancer treatment. Whether or not they made a reasonable decision, the fact that he did not choose this to happen to him and that HE WANTS TO LIVE LONGER, HEALTHILY for his 2-year old daughter and his wife is all that matters to us, his family. As his family, we will fight with him. But we recognize we badly need help to cover the costs of his treatment. PLEASE HELP MY BROTHER LIVE.
