A Brave Mother’s Battle Against Stage 4 Cancer

Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Souls,

My name is Maxton Scotland, and today, I reach out to you with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit on behalf of my beloved mother, Hazzel Scotland. Our family is in the midst of a dire medical emergency that has not only tested our resilience but also our faith in miracles. Hazzel, a remarkable woman whose life has been a beacon of strength and love, is fighting a fierce battle against stage 4 colon cancer that has mercilessly spread to her ovaries.

The gravity of her condition came to light following a diagnosis by specialists in the UK, revealing significant Krukenberg tumours. This news was a devastating blow to her and all of us, inspired by her unwavering spirit. Hazzel is not just a mother; she is a pillar of strength that has held our family together, especially as we faced many trying times, including mental health trials and myself not yet in remission after battling a brain tumour for ten years.

In a heart-wrenching turn of events, despite her status as an armed forces dependent, we were informed that she could not be covered under the NHS for the urgent medical treatment she critically needs. We are now confronted with the daunting task of raising £12,036.00 to clear her medical bills and secure the surgery that could potentially save her life. This amount is far beyond our family's financial reach, but we are hopeful that with your kindness and support, we can give my Mum the fighting chance she deserves.

We call on you, our extended family, friends, and compassionate strangers, to join us in this fight. Regardless of size, your donation will go directly towards clearing the outstanding medical costs and ensuring Hazzel can receive her surgery without further delay. Time is of the essence, and every moment we wait is a moment too long for someone battling stage 4 cancer.

But this campaign is about more than just financial assistance; it's about solidarity, love, and the collective power of humanity to uplift those in their darkest hours. It's about showing my Mother that her fight is our fight, that she is not alone in this journey, and that we can overcome even the most insurmountable challenges together.

We understand these are challenging times for everyone, but please consider donating if possible. If you cannot donate now, sharing this campaign with your network or sending words of encouragement can also make a significant difference. Every share, prayer, and penny brings us one step closer to saving a life that means the world to us and much more.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for reading our story and any support you can offer. Together, let's give my Mum the chance to win this battle.

With deepest gratitude and hope,

Maxton Scotland and Family
